vegas' skyline was supposed to be way greater if this economical meltdown didn't happen. there was a new wave of construction going on, dozens of new projects. by 2006's expectation, 2012's vegas is gonna have twice the resorts, more than double the total floor areas as comparing to 2006's vegas. right now there is only two projects under construction. one is the harmon center next to planet hollywood, other one is called skyvue complex which has a 500ft ferris wheel, next to mandalay bay. and ceaser's $400 million entertainment plaza just got approved, it is in between the flamingo and imperial palace. |
